National Planning Framework

- The NPF is to succeed the National Spatial Strategy and will provide a framework for planning and investment across a wide range of areas from Housing and Water Services through Transport and Communications to Economic Development.
- Dept. of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Govt. have prepared an NPF “Issues and Choices Paper” for public consultation. The deadline for submissions has now passed. The Local Authorities and Ibec separately asked the South East APJ to provide input to their respective regional submissions. The Chairman and Director prepared a brief document for this purpose.
- This brief document was also used as the basis of a submission under the NPF on behalf of the South East APJ.
